Getting your parcel

You must live in the London Borough of Hounslow to receive one of our food parcels, and you will need to be referred by one of our referral partners. These include various Hounslow Council services like the Community Hub, local schools, and your GP. You can find a list of our regular partners here.

Please note that you cannot self-refer, but we can help you find the right partner if you contact the office at 07719 891787 (open Tues – Fri 10am – 1pm or Sat 10am – 12pm). You can also email info@hounslowfoodbox.org.uk

Once you have made contact with your referral partner, they will fill out a voucher form with your requirements, including how many people in your family it is for, and send it to FoodBox. We will contact you to say we have received the referral, check your details, and if you are coming to FoodBox, give you a 5-digit collection number.

Your food parcel will usually take 24 hours to prepare after we have received your referral (except on Sundays and Mondays when we are closed), but in emergencies, we sometimes can do it the same day.

One voucher form is valid for one food parcel and will contain enough food for 4 days. Each parcel needs a new voucher, so if you need more food, then you will need to contact your referral partner and ask them to fill out a new form.

Please note, residents may be referred to FoodBox a maximum of 8 times in a 12-month period. This is to ensure that we can continue to maintain a quality service to those who are vulnerable and need it most.
